Evolution of TWB
Barb began Travel With Barb as a solo operation, working to create opportunities for more students to experience education through travel. As a former high school band director, Barb traveled all over the world with her students. In 2001 she left teaching behind to open this company; providing educators ease in planning their student trips. Over the years she built relationships with vendors, hotels, restaurants, and transportation companies which benefit all Travel With Barb clients. The team believes in celebrating people as the highest-value asset and is fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people — clients, suppliers, and staff. When you take care of people and do your best work for them — with a personal touch — everyone wins!
Travel With Barb has grown from its start on a $25 garage sale table in a basement with a concrete floor to a beautiful office space in Omaha, Nebraska. What started as just one person has grown to nearly 20 seasonal team members. Team members are selected based on those who have a dedication to delivering exceptional service and value to each and every client. With a passion for travel, they work hard to create a memorable and remarkable experience for their clients.
